Well since my topic was locked, I'm starting a new one! Beta is coming along fine. Not much to report but in case someone has a comment to make about Dr Tall Land, I might as well open this topic now.

The Dr Tall Land website is being updated almost daily. Sign my guestbook, tell me your birthday, and I'll put you in my birthday counter. Although the guestbook has been signed twice, no one left me their birthdays as of yet becuase that was not included in the guestbook at the time they signed. If Ice or watzerman read this, feel free to e-mail me your birthday and I'll put you in my counter.
Please note! This is day and month only for birthdays. Asking your year is a violation of your privacy and since I am not an internet stalker, I do not care anyway. This is purely for fun.

I don't know HTML but I don't want to buy one of those books so if I decide I want colored text, I have to view the source a website with colored text. I call what I do soul harvesting, I've harvested a lot from Ambrosia's website, like links, pictures and colored text.
La la la ------------- (Status)-Upgraded to Beta Version 0.2.0. Any testers wishing to upgrade must start a new game. If you do not wish to restart, you do not need to. This is not a fatal bug fix.
La de da ------------- (Status)-New version released under the same version number. This version eliminates the weird ESC convos in Dr Tall Land! So stop your whinning Testers, if you wish to use this new version and have upgraded to 0.2.0 previously, you do not need to make a new game file. If you are upgrading from 0.1.9 to this version, you must make a new game file for the changes to take effect.
If you do not wish to restart, then do not upgrade. Neither of these upgrades are required.

The secret phrase will be harder to figure out now because of...umm...recent events (and I don't mean the WTC). Just remember: A. Type it in ALL CAPS. B. It is...well....technically its not true but some days it is (don't ask) C. Use the credits section of the read-me to unscramble two of the words. D. There IS a prize for entering it in the form of a download

What recent events? What read-me (the only one on the page has the link 'disabled') What's the prize?
If I told you what recent event, that would be too big a hint.
Yes, the version 0.1.9 Read Me is out of date but the replacement is not uploaded yet because it is not final.
The prize is a small game you can download. It's quite addictive.

Just a hypothetical question.....
If there was a game which was in stalled beta and you wanted to play this game, would you rather that the game be released with possible bugs or wait until the beta finished?
Just to make sure your responses aren't skewed:
The game is not EVN. The bugs could include an overall difficulty imbalance (the game is too hard or too easy) but probably do not include any fatal bugs.
