Hey I cannot connect to Game Ranger. Its about 2:10PM here (EST) Anyone else having these problems?

GR is down. anyone looking for a game of Ares: use magchat(link in my sig) I'll be on there waiting for a game(doesnt even have to be mag!) also if ya want to play NetFungus or something I'll play that too :)magchat will even run on 68k or OSX comps

Hmm. I didn't think you could connect over mag chat. Is this a new feature?

I think it is to arrange a game.
You don't need autoconnect. It's quite simple to play a game over magchat:
1. find somone on who wants to play 2. go to your TCP/IP control panel and find your IP-give it to the other guy. 3. go to ares and click Host Game.
Other guy now: 1. go to Ares and click join game, type in IP. 2. play ares

oh yeah-if you're behind a router or something(airport base station) you'll need to look in your router's settings for your IP instead, the one in TCP/IP will be local and others wont be able to connect to it.

Heh i was on the server alright but there is obviously an issue with the connect process. Perhaps irc.enterthegame.com #magleague for finding games instead ( or #ares on irc.ambrosia.com ?)
I can't use IRC. I need Mag Chat but it will not work.
why can't you use IRC? It's just as easy to use as magchat...

It is dangerous, I perfer to talk to people I know. I want to know why Mag Chat doesn't work. Funny I haven't done anything latly to it and all of a sudden it doesn't connect anymore.
