I seem to recall giving you this advice before, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Please post in a mature manner. Mature means-
1. Correct spelling and grammar. 2. Use of punctuation. 3. No annoying abbreviations. 4. A suitably candid but restrained tone.
Nothing about your post speaks highly of you as someone who a board-member would want to strike up a Yahoo link with. Perhaps if you engaged in some meaningful and interesting discussion on the boards first, exchanged views, and so forth, someone might want to chat in real time with Yahoo IM.
Internet communication requires a little forethought and effort, to make sure you're making the impression on people that you are attempting to achieve, and that the way you're saying it isn't detracting from your message.

Dose people with Dyslexia still count as being mature even though thay cant spell or any thing?
------------------ "Time is only a guide line"
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Dyslexia is a speaking disorder, not a spelling disorder. Having trouble pronouncing something and having trouble spelling it are entirely different matters.
On the internet, your maturity is how mature you appear to be to other people. That's a function of how well you communicate. So, you could be a forty-year-old chief accountant, mature and responsible, but that would be entirely irrelevant if you expressed yourself in a way which appeared immature to others.
SA, you ARE wrong. Dyslexia, I believe, is a READING disorder, isn't it?
------------------ I think, therefore iMac.

Dyslexia is one of several distinct learning disabilities. It is a specific language-based disorder of constitutional origin characterized by difficulties in single word decoding, usually reflecting insufficient phonological processing abilities. These difficulties in single word decoding are often unexpected in relation to age and other cognitive and academic abilities; they are not the result of generalized developmental disability or sensory impairment. Dyslexia is manifest by variable difficulty with different forms of language, often including, in addition to problems reading, a conspicuous problem with acquiring proficiency in writing and spelling. The Definition of Dyslexia as adopted by the Research Committee of IDA, May 11, 1994 and by the National Institutes of Health, 1994.

Some schools around where i live dont acsept or help dyslexics with there difulcteys, thay put them in useless lower sets and just forget about them, thay just care about gcse scores and reputation. Im lucky and go to a school that helps them.
I stand corrected.
Anyway, the fact of the matter is that the vast majority of people on the internet who spell poorly do not have Dyslexia or any related disease; they merely are unwilling to invest the time and effort required to produce a smooth, coherent message. Admittedly, it's easier for some people than others, but it really is a worthwhile investment.
For the record I have Dyslexia....
Then can we use you as a marking point? Logically speaking, you've a spelling problem but can still spell well if you try. Meaning that anyone who spells much worse than you isn't trying, and isn't "mature," spelling wise.

Actualy I just copy words from other posts and use them like that. meaning that my spelling has 3 important variables:
1, what time of day it is (in england) 2, if im having a good day or not (its scintificly proven that dyslexics brains work better on some days than others) 3, how good the spelling is on the topic in the first place.
So you could not use me as a good "marking point"
It happens to be a goodish day today. oh and a 4th variable: 4, if i can find my spellchecker or not
On a side note the number of post doesn't have anything with how mature that posters is. Take me as an example

Someday, I'll travel to Europe. Ireland probably. Lots of neat music there.

Bart- First, I would try making friends in meatspace if I were you. Internet friendships rarely work out, thought they sometimes do. Second, very few people use Yahoo IM. A far more commonly used system is Aol Instant Messenger; I myself use it, and nearly every board member has a screenname. Download it (it's free) and try a few people, but don't be surprised if you get some adverse reactions at first. Another good thing to try is IRC. It takes some getting used to, but it works basically the same as instant messaging programs. The channel #ev3 on the server irc.ambrosia.net is frequented by many board members; if you don't make a lasting friendship there you will at least get interesting conversation. If you do come, I'd be happy to have a chat with you, and I'm sure others would too.
Hope this is of some help.

England/ Irlands a nice place to visit, lotsa castles and good walking roots an so on. (lots of diferent acsents too) not many people come hear for the weather though.
Used to live in america for 5 years (Damn hot), california, in sunny vale. (near San Francisco)
California, eh? I lived in L.A. for 5 years too. Hot for sure, but not humid - you'd never sweat to death like you do in New England or down here in Maryland (in fact we've been having quite a sticky heat wave - 90 degrees yesterday!)
And that IRC thing - I got connected to it, but I couldn't figure out how to chat with anyone - typing into the little text box on the bottom doesn't do any good of you don't have anyone somehow selected - I just downloaded it today, could somebody give me hand?
