Hello, and welcome to my All-Purpose Progress Log! Here I shall continue my log on the development of my three worlds, Manditraki Hotel, The Great War of Teraknorn, and Moria, and shall start the game of Mascot Jeopardy. ROUND 1 of Mascot Jeopardy Q. Creatures, objects, scenery, and bonuses are all classified under what name?
Progress log: Moria has been started, with one level-in-progress, Moria, my Moria. It is based on the dwarven kingdom in LOTR called, of course, Moria. The Great War of Teraknorn finished. Manditraki Hotel finished.

DUH. :hitsselfonheadhard: Sorry. Okay. MASCOT Jeopardy Round 1-A Answer: FG Gollum will not make an appearance in Moria because of one extremely simple fact: Gollum does not appear in Moria in the book. And the movie is the reason I'm doing this world.

Gollum does appear in Moria - at least that's where he catches up with them. They can't see him but Frodo guesses he's there. (The footsteps that follow them). That movie is going to be something else. Have you seen the trailer? Unfortunately it won't be out in England for ages. (Not fair) :frown:

Yeah, but he doesn't SEE gollum. But something very, shall we say, BOGGY, will be in the last level. hint hint hint
Minor bug (level order : 1,2,1) okay, maybe not so minor..... Got great idea for 'Boggy' (do you like my nickname for him?) Soon to finish Moria.
NEED WORLD BASE FOR ALL LOTR WORLDS

What are the two keys on a keyboard between D and H?
Yay, do I win that round?
Uh, MASCOT Jeopardy, Doc. The correct answer is 'What is Foreground?'
"MASCOT Jeopardy" is a speculative term, I demand a re-count!!!

I can never remember if that's older than the "Subliminible" joke or not. Hmm.

I've seen all of the trailers over and over again. I already know I'm buying the soundtrack, wathcing it on the 19th, and buying the DVD. EVERYTHING looks exactly as I pictured itΒΒquite the opposite of harry potter.
Why won't it be out in England for a while. The world Premeire is on the 10th in London.

I could be wrong, I hope I am. I've seen the trailers too - they are fantastic, I've also listened to the CDs just recently - there is thirten hours of them, and even then they left out quite large sections of the book. Anyone know how long the film will be?
New world planned: others scrapped temporarily. Need to learn more about MASCOT. LONG time to wait for world.
You know, you don't really need to scrap your other worlds. I think you should make all your little worlds into a larger one with a more integrated plot and more levels. Even if you're feeling insecure in MASCOT, just go ahead and make your world. Be sure to debug every few levels. Learning from your mistakes is the best way to master MASCOT. At least it worked for me. I doubt if your levels could be much worse than what Dr Tall Land used to be. Instead of fretting about learning MASCOT, I just screwed around and had fun. For the longest time, my first level was the most pathetic you'd ever seen. After I was "done" making levels, I just went make and patched up those first ones. It was actually pretty fun seeing how far I had come.
Sorry if that was a ramble
