Well, as it would seem christmas has come and gone, and the coldstone download page
and no sign of coldstone yet. oh well, maybe soon.
(edit) Please don't put links to the coldstone website, it's not live yet, and we'd prefer it to be kept that way until Coldstone is released. I've got this assumption that they're gonna do this on New Year's Eve. That would somehow bug me that they'd do it on the last possible day but if they're gonna keep to this deadline, we oughtta be able to order it tomorrow. But I've got this other assumption that I'm just assuming too soon that they'll release it sooner than the ACTUAL release date which is acutally later than it was said to be released. Only time will tell.

If Ambrosia's fiscal year is the same as the calendar year, then they will most assuredly release it on or after January 2, 2002. That way they can charge all the development cost against 2001 income and they won't be liable for any income from sales until 2003. If they release it tomorrow they'll have to do extra math at taxtime...

Oh well I'm tired of being pessimistic. It'll be here soon enough anyway. If it was expected in late 2001 then it can't be TOO long before it's done being packaged and ready to order. Uhh, when I said "on or after Jan 2," I was by no means implying that Jan. 2 was even a probable release date- just that it was the first possible date, if my theory was correct.
"on or after Jan. 2" includes December 31, 2002-- or March 19, 2160.
Please don't get all bummed that you'll have to wait 158 years for Coldstone!
