From what I understand, if you don't add the extra layers, the movement will be similar to that of Realmz.

My goodness!! Those Movies really broke the chill up here in the great white north! Kudos to you guys, I really can't wait till the Final version comes out!! But, I have a question: can you import hand drawn gaphics in instead of using rendered ones? is the sky the limit?

A self important human once said "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar" but in the case of the (rocket launcher) you have one majorly explosive cigar!

thats also what I wan to know, can we have Exile style 2d characters and environments or do they have to be rendered?

I agree; the movies look amazing, I can't wait for the full version.
Supersonic: You won't need to have rendered characters/tiles/anything. You can make scribbles with a red crayon, scan it into your Mac and use those if you want to. And the final version of ColdStone will have free (or free w/ purchase of ColdStone) graphics that you can use for your games if you don't want to fuss with all the graphic stuff.

well the thing is I don't want to be stuck with the generic 3d graphics that come with the game, I can't even render 3d stuff, what i am good at is 2d picts like in Exile, so i want to use them in my game

You can import any kind of artwork you like into the game, and use it.

The aliases I was using were only to substitute for the subject line unavailable to me as an uregistered user. Not to disguise  my secret identity...

But like some people have been saying about the 3D renders the look a little drab, there's something magical about (well drawn)bright hand drawn sprites it brings back memories,of innocence lost
