There was a suggestion in one of the other threads about hosting a late night tournament (at about 9pm or 10pm GMT) either for those in the southern hemisphere, or those working odd hours.
If the tournament was on a Friday or Saturday, who would be interested in playing?
I guess I'm offering to host this one if there's enough interest in it.
Does anyone have any other ideas for a tournament that would suit other time zones? Such as a morning tournament (8am-10am GMT)?

Don't think that I will be able to make it to this tourney but I wish luck to all who play. May the best man, or woman if Ryoko is there, win.
Though it would be late for me, I'll probably be in. I've for example following free saturdays: 15th May, 22th May

not to cause any confusion -not as a suggestion, just as a question: wouldn´t it work just as well if we would play at noon or at something like 10 - 11am here?maybe that way we wouldn´t lose the "clubbers" among us?

Well, its up to everyone's decision. A midday tournament or a late night one...? I'll wait for suggestions, but if I get none, how about the 15th May at 9pm GMT?

i don´t really mind. i´m not an ambitious "clubber" anyway and i will try to make it if i can- it´s too early to say if i´ll be going out that night and i shouldn´t be/wouldn´t want to be the reason for a change of plans. i just thought that the possibility that people can´t make it on a saturday evening are bigger than on a saturday morning.....and i remembered that there was a lack of players on saturday nights in the past. but since nobody has mentioned interfering plans for that date it´s up to you fyrephin!

I'm afraid my vote does not really mean much, as I never know until the day before whether I will be around for these events Ź_Ź However, I would be more likely to be able to make a weekend morning event rather than a late night one - as I am often out during evenings. However, Saturday evening is the best evening day, so Saturday 15th May at 10pm BST sounds as good as any time. I will just have to hope nothing else turns up then - I feel that I have been missing out on the action recently. ^_^;

To help out a bit with time decisions, there's 9 hours difference London & Sydney... 10pm London = 7am Sydney ... and 1pm London = 10pm Sydney
Either of those two times would suit me fine, though given the choice I'd prefer the latter.
Incidentally, my form at the moment is all over the place, enduring defeats as well as victories, so there's no telling how well I'd do in the next tourney... I mention this to dispel any aura of near-invincibility Lumisa's previous postings may have placed on me - as much as I've enjoyed the few brief moments of hushed awe from fellow players ("hey you're the guy who beat lumisa"), I'm still only human folks!
Anybody could win it from here, therefore I want to wish everyone good luck for the next tourney... and thanks for being willing to adjust your tourney times to accomodate me
