It was a nice tourney, thx for participating! In my opinion it was a lot of fun. It is pity that helix couldn't participate. I would have loved to play him! Although it wasn't my best result I'm happy to beat Hyko (in the first round) first time since months
I hope the next tourney will be soon. See you on the tracker .. I have to go to bed now Eno

Yeah, sorry I couldn't join you all. The main problem here in Leeds is, I've only got a modem connection to the internet, and I am sharing this between 5 people. So that means if anyone else has to use the phone or the internet during the tournament, I won't be able to play. In this case, my flatmate had her handbag stolen, so I had to let her use the phone really to sort everything out... Yeah, it really sucks, but from August, I'll have broadband again
I'm sorted when Ambrosia release the windows version of pop-pop, because then I can play at the university on their wintel machines.........come on boys! Please!!
Hopefully, I'll be able to play in the next tournament...but next time, I'll sign up just before the tournament starts to avoid disappointment
Sounds like you had a great tournament though. Just a shame I couldn't play...

it was a great tournament... in fact i think for me it was the one with the most exciting and tense games. thanks everyone for great games, thanks eno for hosting, and thanks eccles (who smashed me to pieces shortly before the tournament) and ryoko for not participating!!
I want to congratulate Lumisa for her great success and want to thank Eno for hosting the tournament! It was a great tourney and it is always a pleasure to play one like this... thanks to all participants and cu on the tracker.

Congratulations Lumisa, pop-pops number 1 hustler, "Oh, oh, I am playing so rubbish!". And well played everyone, it was another good tourney. It would only have been made better if Ryoko and Helix had turned up. This would have made it an even greater struggle to get into the last four. Helix has given his excuses, Ryoko, please enter yours here _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _.
Hope Danny/Squibix and others can make it to the next tourney too.
Oh, and thanks for hosting Eno!

Anything I can do to help your success, Lumisa - I'm glad my absence made a difference Well done!
Hopefully the next tourney will take place in a more agreeable timezone (ie. not between 2 and 8pm GMT). Some of you have told me, "you know, you should sign up for the tourney", and it's great to receive encouragement, but it's kind of difficult to be up at 4am local time... if only we had a few more aussie players to help sway the time vote...
In the meantime, I hope to see you on the tracker.

I'm with you there, mad dan. By the way, when are you usually on the tracker? It's been so long since I've seen any other Aussie that I'd almost given up hope. Of course, having a 9 to 5 job which sometimes takes me out of the country, a girlfriend in Los Angeles and a bizzarely irresponsible group of friends has meant that I haven't been there and much as I could either. Let me know when you're usually about and I'll hopefully see you on the tracker!

I tend to be on either between 7-9am, or from 9-12pm Sydney time, since those are the times our foreign brethren are most likely to be online. And it's not really much fun coming into the tracker at other times to find you're the only name on the list, is it?

Congrats Lumisa-san. I agree with those from the outback and beyond - we should have a more Australian centred tournament, I would probably be able to make it then too. ^^ maybe ^^;;

Unless it is dinner time of course.

I must admit it was short. But there was written much between the one line

it was definitely charming! oh, wow, i just got the flood control warning too - i understand a very busy webboard can´t do without one... still, i think it´s quite mean that we now can only post one post per 60 seconds! -i can only hope that that won´t slow the conversation down!? hyko, i only needed two - you´ll need 5 again... :rolleyes:
