What do you think about a tournament on March, 21st @ 20.30 CET?

Can't it be sooner than that? I haven't been in a tournament for ages now...

Hmm. I will be skiing the next two weekends and the weekend after is a birthday which may hinder me to play. And then it is already the 21st. But if more people want to have a tourney earlier, I should not be the reason not to compete...
Hi! Iยดm a newbee in pop-pop...I just wounder how to play by the internet.
Iยดll push: Play>vs.>Network.
But it just dont work! Nothing happends...I cant see a soul...just my self!! =(
Any one that knows what the problem is?
Please.

Be sure to have the current version of pop-pop 1.0.4 and have some patience to wait for other players in the lounge. There are not many people playing currently but after some waiting you will most times meet someone to play.
ok! thanks!!
see you in there...=)
Sounds good to me Hyko. I'm sure I'll be there.

I'm not as sure as Shoes, but I'll try to have time
------------------ Please correct me! I'm a pupil learning English.
I might be able to play.
So, who's up for Hyko's tourney next Sunday, March 21st? Apparently the PC Pop-Pop is looming so this could be the last Mac only tourney! (Don't cry.)
Ryoko, Hyko, lumisa, Eno, Lish, HoNu, squibix, Kirk Blade, Crono, Helix, Pepperjack, msxgamesbox, mikrisa, Dingo, craust, Texas Girl, Fyrephin and others - what do you say?
The times are:
CET (Germany, France etc): 8.30pm
GMT (UK): 7.30pm
Eastern Time (New York): 2:30pm
Pacific Time (Washington): 11:30am
(Sorry if I didn't include your time.)

I'm in, I think. Is this now an official date and time? Will the tournament soon be up on the tourney-system?

We'll have to wait for Hyko to confirm the time and setup the tourney on his site (he's currently skiing according to his 2nd post in this thread). But I think we might as well presume this is the definate date, seeing as it has been posted for over 2 weeks and the tourney is in a weeks time.
I think that I am in, no conflict in plans yet and the time seems good. I haven't played much since spring break, but will try to be back in shape. Hope to see some of the "old" players on.

I am back from skiing already and due to a not planned ski-flight and a broken "pelvis ring" (don't know a correct english translation) the chances are very good that I am at my desktop next sunday.
I will set up the tourney in the system. The tournament time can still be discussed the coming days.
Looking forward to playing a well visited tournament

I'm not sure if I'll be able to play or not, as I share this internet connection (56k modem) with other students...but I'll do my best to be there...
Currently six players have signed in for the tournament (http://pop-pop.webhop.net)
Where is the rest? Come on LUMISA, join the tourney... crono, ryoko, texas girl, fyrephin, Dingo HoNU... let's try to have some fun tournament games again :-D!
Here's a pretty useful site for finding out the tourney start time in your time zone: (url="http://"http://timezoneconverter.com/cgi-bin/tzc.tzc")http://timezoneconve...cgi-bin/tzc.tzc(/url)

So now that I've registered on the pop-pop tourney system, are the rules going to be the ones on this site? (url="http://"http://homepage.mac.com/rchristie/various/pop_pop/")http://homepage.mac....arious/pop_pop/(/url)
Those were the only rules that I was able to find. I am assuming that it is still a 2:30 EST because there has been no word otherwise. Hope to see you on!

Yes, that are the rules we will use. Using Shoes Link, 2.30 EST is the correct time.
