Okay, I dropped this tournament torch, who wants it?

For the record I think the tournaments are definitely a good thing. I think everyone agrees on this. I'm not going to lay blame at foot of any party because it solves nothing. Remember, an 'eye for an eye makes the whole world blind'.

That being said, there is nothing wrong with healthy discussion about the tournament. Just keep in mind that we're working as hard as we can. I apologize for whatever little bit of controversy this caused; it's certainly not helpful.

For my part, I'm going to take every suggestion about the tournament as constructive criticism and work to build the tournament into something that is so fun that everyone wants to play.

I know I said that if you have a suggestion, email us. And I do mean that. If you are not comfortable emailing me, email Number279 and ask him to keep it confidential who you are.

I'm just grateful for any feasible chance to play in a tournament. Name the conditions, I'll work with them. I'm glad moki's agreed to a set of rules; at least it sets down the framework. If any changes need to be made in the future either let it happen naturally as pros, cons and preferences are discovered. Otherwise, set up and host your own tournament using your own rules and rewards and see how it goes.

As a side note, I do think it's important for there to be a core of experienced players for the pop-pop community to crystallise around (and with a port to Windows, the community will definitely grow) but I don't think anyone should be putting that importance above having fun playing. This ship steers itself.
