Guys you got it all wrong. The Albatross was like a Side Topic. nothing to do with the topic. And anyway, the Albatross is far too far from poppy-planet. Its in UE space (EVO webboard)!

Remember that it's impossible to compare the Pop-Pop board with most other Ambrosia boards in terms of activity because Pop-Pop is simpler than most other games that have their own boards. Deimos Rising, Bubble Trouble X, and various other arcade games never had their own boards because there simply wouldn't be enough posts (there wasn't that much complexity) to warrant something like that. I think that Pop-Pop got its own web board mostly because it's an internet-based game. I'm not saying the web-board's posting frequency isn't dying because it IS, I'm just saying that it would be unfair to compare it to EVN or a similar game's board because games like that are invariably more complex and have more to discuss about (as well as more game-related problems that people like to complain about).
But after all this ranting from me, I am still waiting for the day when Ambrosia hosts an official Pop-Pop tournament with prizes, rankings and the like. That's how I imagined it from day 1 and it saddens me that the no steps were ever taken in that direction. I know that there have been user-led tourneys but they are few and far between - and there's nothing to spike the heart rate like a Pop-Pop t-shirt or Ambrosia reg code for the winner
