O.o someone using my crappy graphics o.O those ones suck lol. Those are the ships made of a elongated sphere and a couple cylinders with mottled white/black texturing right? I have 2 other sets of higher quality stuff that I was planning on using for my TC( Sol Imperium and Triplanetary Confederation Elite Guard) If you've seen my preview these are the rewritten from the ground up graphics reasonably superior to the Preview and far better than the original free stuff. If you want I'll make the remaining sprites and post them on the Addons.
Also I'd recommend viper's collection of sounds, weapon sprites, and ship sprites. They're quite excellent

Sorry I screwed up. I looked at both of your graphics (no offense but the ovals kinda sucked) and I went with Viper's. That was a few months ago so I got mixed up, thought they belonged to Pat. Thanks anyway. I still might find a use for your pics, though...
I wouldn't bother using the newsprites pics, they'll just make your plugin suck graphic-wise

if you want to host those on geocities or angelfire, try saving your files with a .txt extension instead of a .gif or .jpg one(still save them as GIF or JPEG though) that will let you link to them i think.

Pat, I read your offer on the other forum, and I would really love it if you could make me a starmap for my plug. All I need is the same one, but with more systems scattered throughout Obish, Gaitori, and Bandeeze(sp?) space. I'd send you an email with more info. If you can do that (and create a tiny read-me that tells me how to insert it with ResEdit or something), then you will suddenly be my best friend, and I'll let you beta test and I'll give you Karma points and all that.

starmap in PICT resource format mailed to your Yahoo eMail. Just copy PICT 8000 from it to your scenario using ResEdit.
Thanks Pat you're the best. Unfortunately I'm going away on vacation next week, so I won't be able to finish the plug before end of summer (damn!), but its well on its way. I tried to raise your Karma by 10,000 points, but that function is reserved for administrators :frown: .

Alright, I've suffered a major disapointment. I've moved base camp to a small college dorm in the middle of Maine, and I e-mailed the plug-in to myself so I could keep working on it. Unfortunately, it no longer opens in Hera. I suspect this may have something to do with OSX. Grrrr. I will find time to worry about this -- just give me a few days. No ideas as of present...
