The Fall of the UEC: Coordination

Baek Dorion, Supreme Octicate of the Phylydion Imperium, looked over his notes on the situation unfolding in former UNS territory. The massive UEC was taking over. At that moment one of the Octicates under his command, Drion Nerec, was leading an assault against the UEC fleet with a standard heavy attack fleet; standard excepting the fact that it was lead by the flagship of the Phylydion Imperial Navy.
He reached for the main comm unit in the Phylydion War Room and hailed the Phylydia II, and it was possibly the longest ranged hail in recent history. There was an incredible distance bewteen Dominus and Earth space. After a few seconds, Nerec's face popped up on the screen in front of him. "Your Supremity." Nerec saluted, the short version. "If you would make this quick; I'm in the midst of a battle here."
"I know that, Octicate Nerec. Report on your situation."
"We can handle the fleet pretty easily, but the flagship's giving us a lot of trouble."
"I've decided to use more force. The situtation must be resolved immediately."
"How so, sir?"
"Deploy the Vermillion Battlegroup."
"Are you sure we should devote such a force to something like this?"
"Positive, Nerec. Deploy them immediately."
"Aye, sir."
Nerec cut the connection, then sent a signal to Jaltir VII, Phylydion Navy headquarters, where the second most powerful force in the entire navy was docked.
A buzzing woke up Garrion Retoe, and he fumbled around and tapped his message button on the console next to his bed. An emergency scramble to assist the Phylydia II and the fleet she was commanding. He jumped up and hit the scramble button on the console. He then ran to the main hatch of his command ship and up to the bridge. The crew was in place in five minutes, and the Kiojea blasted off.
It was an incredible sight, seeing a large fleet of heavy battlescruisers being scrambled like fightercraft. The Vermillion Battlegroup, an elite force of fifty Kiojeas, was in orbit around Jaltir VII in less than ten minutes. They then disappeared in a multi-colored flash as they engaged their omni-drives.
