Depending on your universe, the little ship being very massive might have some other problamatic implications.
The massive ship will not be very affected by shot impacts. One of the ways to defeat a kamikaze ship is to keep it at a distance. If it's a small craft, shots and explosions could knock it off course. But if it is very massive, this won't happen.
Again, depending on your universe, this may or may not be important.
