in damsmels on distress I finally got the quest to make the sword the problem is I can't find a piece. Where is the piece that is west of gildion keep in a marshy area? i've lookd every where but can't find it.

Well obviously you haven't looked everywhere or you wouldn't need to ask. As Princess Jadyn said, the paths are narrow there. Some are even overgrown. Poke around a bit. The "marshy area" is really just some tall reeds growing in wet grass nearby some water. That's as much hint as I think I should give.

Unfortuneately I'm having a bit of trouble to. I'm trying to find upper berglum and I went to the screen right under the high garendall entrance (above berglum)and while searching I tripped over a sword tip that said 'bla'. Other than that nothing. I'm using a ranger file with the latest version of DiD. I'm no windows user. Any hints would be apreciated!!

Hi S0me 1 01. Welcome to the boards. Upper Berglum is probably closer to Berglum than you are now. You are about eight squares away from Berglum. Berglum spans two squares. "Upper," when used to describe a geographical location can mean either "north of" or "on higher ground." Take your pick. The queen has placed her trust in you, although Aigburr, The Exalted doesn't think much of your abilities. Prove him wrong. I have said before that near-sighted people have an easier time with this because they search more closely. (That should be a big enough hint.)
Hang on to that "Bla" sword tip. It may come in handy later.

wow. Thanks for the tip RubberDucky. Ive rescued the first princess and now as I went to the trolls lair to search around the runner came up and want s me to go talk to a troll in the royal gaurd. I hope it dosen't mean Gidolan Keep... and if it does wheres the entrance?

No wait I just looked into that. Toadstools don't sell for anything. I found a little gem stone in the woods around Gewins place. Could I sell that or is it related to Spells expander which I have in at the moment.

well too late. I managed to get the gold (through the ranger cheat topic in the webboards)and you were right. But how else am I supposed to get the other princesses? If I go the other way in troll central I get instantly teleported back to the trolls cave by way of trapdoor.

hmm... thats a word to add to the vocabulary. Got all the pieces to Diabolus Now!! The only problem is i'm missing 3 toadstools to give to the hag. YERY annoying. I even have 333 health. like I said VERY annoying. I think I found Loogor with out the hags help, 2 or 3 screens under the tearos river bridge.

The Hag will give you the help you need. She's not really a bad old bird.
You cannot reach Loogor without talking to the Hag first. The path is blocked by a river, although you'll have much much worse things to deal with when you reach the other side.
