I've had this stuff for too long. (almost a year, I think) I have occasionally tried to get developers to make it ( in those topics like, "I want to make a plug")

I would be if I knew how. If it weren't a huge difficulty, I would recommend making the shipyard pic darker overall, it seems slightly green, reminds me of the Rebel Starbridge. I also noticed that there is a bit of a jump between the final frame and the first, but that could have just been some silliness from Res-Edit. Do you have any ideas for the weapons load or speed?
Maybe stick this on the Nova board too. There it will probably be more easily noticed and there will be more people who might try to make it into a plug-in. Of course then you would need to deal with lots of people just posting comments about how cool it looks and saying that you should replace the Medium Blasters with special mini-Ion Cannons.
Nice job though.

Not likely, as most of them probably literally don't have a clue where to start; they just play the game.
I could do this, but it would be difficult to integrate it into the default scenario. I'll give it a shot though.

Wow. What type of file did you zip? I didn't have a chance to see what you did on Windows. The folder contained one empty file called 'TheModStarbridge', and a seperate folder labelled '_macosx' with a nameless file and a '._TheModStarbridge' file association.

Yeah. I would do it if i could open your file. You need to either mac-binary encode it before you zip it, or use stuffit. Simply zipping it gives you something thats only openable on OSX. I vastly prefer mac-bin encode and then zip. -Az

A ship, a desc... but you could get creative with it, and maybe have variants and a couple missions. Yeah, variants might be nice. Just credit me for it and tell me when you're done.
The gun exit points are already set up, I think. So all you have to do is deck it out with weapons, make it show up in a few systems, the shipyard, possibly outfitters, and then whatever else you want to do with it.
About the RIDs, I changed them manually... I'm not sure why.

It isn't actually green so don't be too worried. It's just that the shade of grey seems greenish, probably from the colors around it. By the way, how do all of you people seem to be able to afford Photoshop? I thought it was really expensive. An alternate idea for the shipyard pic would be that of the normal Modified Starbridge with the station it is flying at replaced by a Pegasus.

how did you make this ship? i just downloaded the res edit file and opened it up, and im wondering, how did you make this ship without atmos's original sprites? cause thats pretty sweet that you can do that, and id like to know how.
It came with my computer, along with QuarkXPress and Illustrator, and a bunch of other stuff.
Evidently, the guy that used to own my computer did graphics. Always funny to see about 5 diferent names for preregistered programs. How many people owned this computer? Sheesh... </off topic>

I took the rleDs of the pirate starbridge, and the mod starbridge, and converted them to pict-based sprites. Then I used ClarisWorks (No kidding) and I lasso'd the little gun thingys, and put them on top of the pirate starbridge sprites.
Not all that complicated, eh?

Probably to make it more precise, if you had photoshop, you could have copied the sprites for the pirate starbridge and the mod starbridge and put the mod starbridge sprites on a higher layer, and just erased the starbridge, revealing the pirate starbridge.

Yeah, I made this stuff before I actually had the skill necessary for photoshop to be an efficient tool.
