Hello everybody. I've taken up the challange to develop the New Starfleet Adventures Website. It'll have the same great information you've come to love, but the site will be redesigned and reorganized (yay! PHP!). The only thing I need is a new site-wide Banner to go across the top of the page. I could fumble around with Photoshop trying to make something, but I've decided I'd rather give those with actual graphic design skills an opportunity to do so. So I bring you:

Design Guidelines:
Submitting your entry:
*The top 3 finalists will all be mentioned in the website credits, and the winner's design(s) will be used. If I'm having trouble picking (hopefully I will) I may have a public poll to decide whose design wins and will be used. Keep in mind if you do win, I may ask for you to alter something on the Banner.
The cutoff date is whenever I feel I have enough entries. I'll post when I'm thinking I may have enough entries. If you are working on one at that time, send me an email to inform me and I'll consider extending the cutoff date.

Created in Photoshop using the Constitution -class info pic from the SFA Teaser, and the symbol came from some website. I hardly know anything about Star Trek, so tell me if I've used the wrong symbol or something.

I know the font's not extraordinarily Trek-ish, but it's the best I could do with my computer's limited selection. I can change it if you want. Anyway:

The font on the previous submission was WAY better, but once again, I don't have a very big selection. If anyone can link me to somewhere that has a lot of Mac fonts, I would appreciate it.
The ship on the left is a Ranger class, the middle one a Miranda class, and the right one a Constitution class refit.

Emperor Cary (right?): Did that font come stock with your computer?
In all honesty, Emperor Cary's submission inspired me for mine. I then zombula'd a quick nebula in the back and added some stars. If they look unusually bright to you too, then tell me. They look fine on the original file, but they got a lot brighter in the browser window for some reason.

By the way, you can just call me "orca" (capital or lowercase o, I don't particularly care). Why type nine letters when you could just type four?

Yea, it took me a while to figure out what your name actually was (orcal-over-bri9? orcal-o-verb-ri9?), then I figured out the orca-lover part and became excited that I figured it out ;).

Hehe. It's orca lover bri 9. It's an old username that I've used a lot. I started using it when I was nine, hence the 9 at the end.
