My first plug was for EVO, a huge, random collection of new stuff. All of it was made with EV-Edit with graphics ripped off of other plugs. The only graphics I did myself was change the Crescent Warship's stripes to yellow, and made a missile that was shruken cyan Azdara sprites.

If you want people to look at your images, it's generally best to make it easy for them to do so. Many browsers (such as Safari under default settings) often cache the error page and makes it hard for the user to correct their mistake if they forgot to cut and paste the first time. Either find a new host that allows remote linking, or simply create a simple HTML page you upload with the images that displays it. It's not hard.

I feel evil, my only plug was one I made for myself for override. It replaced the shuttle with an uber cheat ship(or so I thought because I thought I had made the stats so high). It's graphics was a composite of the graphics from the crecent warship and azdara and something else, done in photoshop, and rotated in photoshop. I tried it out and fought ships around earth. I was promptly beaten despite my cheat ship and it's massive amounts of weapons. I proptly gave up makeing my own plugins as I couldn't do real graphics and couldn't even make a good cheat. I think I must have been stupid or something back then. I don't know how I even defeated the dreadnaught! I played the game without plugins normally but everyonce in a while downloaded one and tryed it out for a day. My favorite one was one that led apple and microsoft to the future and there were disk ships and apple and microsoft planets. I loved it! I loved blowing up windows ships! I wan't to see that plug for Nova! Oh well. I need to learn to do plugins and 3D graphics. I wish I had a faster computer. I wish I had someone to teach me how to use Inspire 3D, I wish, I wish...

As for my first graphic, It was a large freighter created on the 3D program Pro-Desktop. I would post it, but I have no hosting abilities. And it wasn't that pretty anyway
My first plug-in. Hmmm. I think I tried to put a ship into the game, but gave up before ever completing it.

I would register but my dad wont let me, he says I've registered on enough web boards(non ambrosia web boards) and that if I register here I will feel obliged to keep posting. he also says that I already spend enough time on the computer as it is and he does not think its healthy for me. this is the only place where I can ask my questions at all. I live in a country where one in a hundred people has a computer and so I can't find anybody who plays EV to talk to.

If it makes you feel any better, both Apple and Microsoft show up in The Great Conflict - Microsoft even has it's own planet, Microsoftia

So far the one and only released Guapo plug is CompWars, for EV. Changed all references to the Confeds to the Evil Empire, and all references to the Rebellion to the Holy Mac users.
I tell you, editing a thousand descs is NOT easy. Took me a while, too. Then spamguy sued me for infringing on his CompuWars plug. Similar name. Similar idea. Oops.
Decided to rerelase it as Crusaders 1.1, with missions and a ship or two...didn't get around to it.
However, on a more successful note, I am the author of (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/cgi-bin/vftp/dl-redirect.pl/TechFolder.sit?path=evo/guides&file;=TechFolder.sit")Captain Canardley Ableson's Technical Guide to the EV/O Universe(/url)...I like to think that I inspired the current technological detail of EVN's descriptions. Anyway, with 4111 downloads and a rating of 81, (since September 1, 2000), the Technical Guide is THE most popular guide in existence on the Ambrosia server.

My first plug was the EVula Plug. It added a system, a planet, and EVula himself to the plug. I started working on a second version that added missions for EVula, that involved him taking over the galaxy, but I gave up. lol
