Hi. I posted a topic in the EV nova web board but Slagbah directed me here. My request was for someone to make a plugin that would give you 100, 200, 300, 400, and/or 500 tons more of free space depending on your ship. I also requested that it would increase your guns by at least 30 or 40 and your turrets by at least 15.

Just grab a copy of resedit and Novatools and do it yourself. Its pretty straightforward. You could even get EVONE or another editor if you really wanted.

Okay. I'm going to shorten this so it takes less time to retype. Oh, I'm writing this while looking at NovaTools (for some reason), so some of the names will be slightly different, but this should work.
Keep the EV Nova Bible handy (it's in your Documentation folder inside the EV Nova 1.0.6 folder)
Using (url="http://"http://davidarthur.evula.net/mc.php")David Arthur's Mission Computer 3.0(/url), create a new nova plug. Save it and close it. Copy EV Nova Data 4 into the plug using MC's resource copier.
Open the plug.
Find the Sigma Mount Reinforcement. Change its resource ID to one higher than the last outfit on the list. Change the name to whatever you want (for instance, Super Weapons Increase). Delete the bits, seet the buy random to 100, and change the tech level to 0. Change the amount of turrets and guns that the reinforcement gives you to 30 for the guns and 15 for the turrets.
Save.
Find Matrix Steel. Change its resource ID to one higher than the last outfit on the list (It should be Super Weapons Increase). Change its name. Delete the bits, set the buy random to 100, and change the tech level to 0. Change the modtype from 6 to 2. Give it a ModValue of 100. Set the mass to -100, and set the flag "Mass depends on Ship Mass" (or something of the sort) so that the bigger the ship you have, the more mass you get (I think. This might not work for negative mass values, so you'll have to try yourself). Make sure that you get rid of the ModType #2 so that it doesn't slow you down.
That should be everything. Have fun!

There is a problem with just increasing max guns - each gun has a max that you are allowed to have. So you cant have more than 4 thunderhead lances, no matter how many free gun slots you have. It wouldnt be hard to make a plug to make an outfit that gave you 10 extra guns, 5 extra turrets, and 200 free mass, and then let that item be purchased multiple times (i even had something like that in my dev-cheat when i was working on a plugin ). Use Resedit with novatools. It's pretty straightforward, actually. One new outfit with an id set to one more than the highest outfit resource in nova data 4 (highest used is 443, for the Moash IFF Projector, so you would want 444). Then set its mass to -200, cost to 0, tech level to 0 or 1. Remember to set the max number your allowed to have as well (it will be obvious which field that is when you see it). Then set the modtype 1 and 2 to increase guns and increase turrets, with modval 1 and 2 set to 10 and 5 (or whatever you want). -Az
