Gaa!! Sapphire problems

I just finished the Sapphire quest. I then saved before talking to Talmud in Fantrima. I chose one of the rewards, but then changed my mind and loaded my game. Now Talmud is gone and I can't get anything!!! No, I don't have a previous saved game, and no, I don't know how to make plugins. Anything I can do? :frown: :frown: :frown:

Sapphire is a relatively short plug-in. Load the game you have without Sapphire checked and save this and quit. Now reload the game with Sapphire checked and it will be as if you had not played the plug-in before. Since you know where you are going now, you can quickly run through the quests (saving at points where choices are to be made) and you will just be a little further along in your experience points.

Any plug-in (except Trinity) can be played like this as many times as you want. If a plug-in introduces new maps, however, the maps will be stored in PoG memory as showing that you've been there before. The NPCs and special quest items will all appear as new.

I hope this helps. ~RD

The (url="http://"http://www.evula.org/rduck/")Kingdom of Garendall(/url) sectional map is easily printed from gif format pages.
Find those areas you missed the first time around. You'll want to explore those hidden areas now made accessible with Spells Expander.

In the future quit out completely from PoG before loading a previously saved game. PoG has a bug in it that global variables aren't reset when you load a game, so what happened was Sapphire thought the newly loaded game had already beaten the plug-in.

This is true for all plug-ins.
