I have strata! its as similar to infini-d as i could find. (even though i still prefer infini-d). Do any of you use strata? if you do, can u tell me were to get GOOD texture tutorials for strata?

Strata unfortunately has a very penickity texture engine, and takes a good long while to figure out. I had the pro demo for a while, and thing have improved slightly over the version I use (3.0.2), which is the version I assume you use - I think the one I have for download on my site is one of the only copys of 3.0.2 still available for download
It took me a while to figure out the texture system but I finally got it about a year ago! I havent made any tutorials on it though, and wont be soon - texturing is the last on my list of tutorials to make.
For now however, the (url="http://"http://www.stratacafe.com/")stratacafe(/url) has loads of free textures and models for download, and if you look at the bottom of the page, there is a link to a Strata tutorial site

Some good texturing tutorials can be found on (url="http://"http://www.stratacafe.com")www.stratacafe.com(/url).
The texturing in strata is pretty weak, but very easy to learn, simply tac a texture on.

well, strata seemed similar... after using it for half an hour i realised it isnt..... but wait, my version of infini-d 4.5 is back! now i can kick back and learn strata the usual way (mmmm, wonder what this button does....)... takes years, but its very effective!
