Would I be crucified if I brought a plug for nova, in which you could be an Intergalactic pimp? This would obviously fall into the 'Mature Content' idea. I was just thinking about Nova today and telling one of my friends about it and he threw that Idea at me. I gave it bit of thought and decided it could work, however it would have to be a gender specific role. The missions only being able to be played by a male character and such. Is that possible? Having different backgrounds to specific gender? Anyway, Ideas?, Comments, Cries of "Crucify Him, Crucify Him!"?

Uhm, it'd be kinda weird, it might get you a rather large karmaslap if it isn't done VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY carefully, and it might get you flamed into oblivion.
In other words, it's just like every last other plug out there. Go for it. I don't see why not; I mean, being a pimp will be quite a switch from being the Director of the B.I.I....

You could have it for male and female pilots, but you'd have to be really careful about your gender specific pronouns. But to be the leader of "an escort service" would at least be interesting to see if it could be pulled off (my grammar might be a little funny, but that's probably because I only woke up 10 minutes ago, and my brain hasn't started yet).

I certainly don't karmaslap people for their plug-ins, and I find it hard to believe anyone else would. Flames, on the other hand, do warrant karmaslaps.

Since the plug is based on prostitution, I was assuming that if it was done too crassly and crudely, it would deserve a karmaslap (which I think it would). Of course, if it was done as a satirical string, with humor in mind, that would be a very different story, and just might make for an incredible plug.

If I was going to karmaslap for plugs, I would slap all of those crappy add one system where you can buy everything plugs. I don't see a problem with a more "mature" plug.

Y'know, that's actually a good idea. You oughta do that. At least when I made on of those for EV/O, I had the common decency to make it for Paaren Station instead of adding a new system (then you kinda had to work for it -- I meant to add more missions to make you work harder, but I never got around to it). Yes. Lousy cheat plugs definitely deserve karmaslaps -- and the occaisonal karmaslug for the morons who just don't get it.
