How can we try to get a text-repair plug-in to be made? Its really bugging me.
Is there any way we can let the developers know that its important?

When Coldstone is released you can make it yourself
I suspect that the developers have gotten the message, since at least some of them read this board, but I also suspect that at present they have higher priorities - like finishing Coldstone.
As for my wants for a plug, a "Kalixa Gate Stone" would be immensely useful.

It would be nice to be able to take multiple potions/food and sell items in bulk, like by typing in the amount of item you want to buy/sell/drop/use.
P.S. Of course, LOTR plugin. Movie rocked. Go see it.
Why? Who? What? When? Where?

It would also be nice to have them listed as one item in the inventory with a number next to it to show how many you've got. It's annoying having to scroll past all the unwanted healing concoctions and red things to get to the healing potion I want to use!
I think it also slows the game down a bit... When you've got hundreds and hundreds of potions, it takes an extra little while to sell them all... I know an extra couple of seconds aren't much in the grand scheme of things, but it's an annoying feature.

That's already been done. PoG 1.0.1 lists inventory items just like that.
i also think that when selling, you should be able to bargain with the merchant. Like the merchant will bargain down or up on the price of what he is selling to/buying from you, but there should be a limit and no negative numbers (so that the merchant doesnt sell you elven full plate for -10 gold and you dont sell it to him for like 1000000000 gold.) i just noticed that i could do that in some other games, so i thought it might be useful for say, someone who had like 9058 gold and just needed to bargain down a little bit, instead of spendin another half an hour hacking and slaying.

one idea i have is to have somthing like an isolated blacksmith where you can buy anything for half price and he has every weapon and armor
I think bargaining might be a bit out of character for PoG. What about a Charisma attribute instead?
Other ideas:
give a mass to each item and limit how much the poor character can cart around
make a mule available to carry items You hafta pay for it. And feed it. Hay anybody?

I don't like the idea of there being a limit... RPGs which impose a limit on how much stuff you can carry really irritate me sometimes. At the point in PoG when you've still got quite low armour and dexterity and you're buying loads of potions to use to get more experience, it would be extremely annoying to have to keep going back to get more potions.
As for the mule's hay... Couldn't he share it with the horse someone else was saying should be available?
that was me
also, i think they should have the two handed weapons have an option that reads (x-y damage, 18 strength required/ 2 handed) where if your muscles are massive enough, you can hold the weapon with one hand and a shield in the other, but if your too week it uses both hands. Sorta more realistic (although it sorta reminds me of duke nukem holding a machine gun in each hand and being able to still stand up, as well as aim.). Also i think that strength should affect how many types (emphasis on types) of items you can have in your inventory. Like, you could have 1 million potions of healing and it wouldnt affect your strenght, but if you had one of every food, healing solution, weapon, and artifact, youd have to have at least 13 strength. Also these two above things should affect each other, meaning that if your using up 18 strength holding a claymore in one hand, you have to have an extra 13 strength to carry everything in you inventory. However, if these two add-ons collided, you could choose to use both hands in stead of one hand for your weapon. (Last thing, the two handed weapon thingy shouldnt apply to using a bow cause you need one hand to hold the bow and one to shoot.)
or you could use the bow the way some kid used it in a book i read a long time ago (the name escapes me) hold the bow in one hand, shield in the other, lie on your back, hold onto the string and the arrow, hold the wooden part in place with your feet, and let it fly. the kid nver missed when he did this

As far as class-specific items, that is already in the game. Only rangers can use bows, and there are several bows and other weapons available only to rangers. Swordmen are the only class that can use long sword or two-handed weapons such as claymores, pikes, or war axes, so any weapon of that type is specific to the swordsman class. I don't know about weapons specific to the conjurer, but I suspect there may be some - haven't gotten that far with my conjurer yet.
I think there should be an individual appearance for every single weapon, just as long as they appear differently in your invntory. I thinnk it's also annoying, when I'm a knighted swordsman, I'm showed wearing a helm, when I'm actually wearing a necklace of stone. I think ranks should be shown by decoration of some sort. The weapons couuld look shinier as you advance upon the ranks.
No offense, but it is VERY bad etiquette (spelled wrong) to bring up year-old threads. Create a new thread, please. iLock AAC? (or Dee or David)

You have to realize though, this is just going towards Diablo Two, however many of these things could be easily done, but most of them will begin to ruin the game and too many will also ruin the game, the best possibilities are new places and new things to do I think that Ambrosia should put out a plugin or maybe eaven a seperate program hat allows internet play with that, the options become nearly infinate. If that would be impossible with ColdStone however, then Ambrosia should devise a method of making it using another engine, but making it compatible with PoG data.
