Okay, fine. I found (url="http://"http://www.sutherland-studios.com.au/family/evo_software.html")Movies2Sprites.(/url) It was on R&R;'s site, along with PICTs2Sprites, which makes a sprite and mask file from a folder of PICT filesŃhandy for those that have no 3D modeler, but a paint program.

Well, just for the sake of bumping this topic, even though there's a whole topic on it on multiple forums:

I'm not sure Martin Turner would agree with you there...
** As for Iridium, go for it! There aren't enough real plug-ins for EVO, I'm sure Fusion would be a welcome addition. If you need help with it, this is the place to ask for it. I'm pretty busy with SRE, but if you need any plotline/conceptual/idea help, I'd be plenty willing and capable.

Plotlines for an editor? What a great idea...(it leaves you clues everytime you save a plugin, you must solve the mystery of the memory leak)

although it's not done yet, we should all keep an eye out for David Arthur's upcoming EV/O (i think?) mission developer. thankyou so much David! i can't stand all that going back between resources and taking 20 min (for a cargo delivery!) that i am suffering through with ResEdit.

Okey, Harbinger has thought up an idea of having a website where one can track a plugin's progress . . . all he needs is a good host. He found the CGI script on sourceforge.net, so he doesn't need any help writing the script -- just a place to host it. If any of you can think of a good one (not f2s.com -- the free service is going to die; not mac.com -- no CGI stuff; not bfd.com -- oasa's lost cable access) that Harbinger can get free, then that'd be great -- I can tell him if someone finds a place for it.

Geocities? Angelfire?

I love loopholes.
Cafall, if mac.com isn't good enough, then do you really think Geocities and Angelfire are going to be any good?
It must be free, have at least about thirty megs of space (if the plugins are hosted elsewhere, about 200 if they're hosted here), and allow users to use their own CGI scripts. Also, it must be a shell account -- just a web host would suck for this.
By the way, if you have no idea what I'm talking about, don't bother trying to find a place with all this stuff -- it'll be a futile search of nervously saying 'no' to questions about whether or not you know what you're talking about.
There are few, if any, websites like that around. $9/month can get you that in some places. I'll look if you like.
