As you probably know from the 'Your Opinion' topic, 21st Century Digital Boy and me are working (almost finished --- really) on Universal Wolf's former plug, the Silent Ruins of Earth - Act I for EVO. Well Silent Ruins is going to become a plug-in in three 'acts' for Nova. We know what we are doing and this project is serious. We asked Moden Studios (Meowx Design or whatever you like to call it) to make the graphics for us, but I estimate the price for redoing all the graphics + nova enhancements + additional graphics for outfits/ships appearing in the 2 other parts of the Nova plug to 500 $. I was ready to pay the price, but before I wanted to ask if anyone here was willing to do graphics. Someone that already has some experience. I would even be ready to pay you (assuming your price is under 500 $ :p).
We (21st and I) are a serious, good team. We are organized and have manpower (many friends as well as my sister are ready to help me coding missions or writing desc or anything that takes time like testing). I am well equipped; I got two G4s and many renderers so if you do the models and texturing, the volounter artist can just send them so I can let my comp render them so he/she can work on the models whitout loosing time. I also got high-speed connection and a 18-hours-a-day running Hotline server.
If you are interested in doing these graphics (preferably for free), just post (and maybe add a few links to some images you made). THIS IS A SERIOUS PROJECT: THIS PLUG GOING TO GET DONE !!!

I'll probably be willing to help. My best examples are from EVO:Galactica which I have been working on. However, it appears to have died. I'll wait about a week or so before putting it's graphics online for everyone. In the meantime, I have a link to some of my earlier work in my sig.

I'll help. I can create most any ship with decent quality, my only problem is getting some inspiration. So as long as you have sketches, or design info, or anything on the ships, I can contribute. I hashed the shuttle out as my first try in about 2 and a half hours, and the UE Fighter I did in less than 2 hours.

Good god, what are we coming to that people can and will pay 500 dollars to get graphics made for a shareware game plugin? Egad, give it to charity and learn how to use 3d rendering software. I guess ATMOS' efforts have convinced everyone that having super fancy graphics that take years to make is really important. Thank goodness there's a recession coming, maybe we'll see an end to this sort of foolishness.

Now about the graphics : I do like your graphics, Restorer and Evil Peguin, but I might have to choose between you cause according to my experience, its never good to have different graphic styles in the same plug. Or maybe one of you can do ships and the other can do spรถbs... I'll have to talk about this with 21st Century Digital Boy.... Currently he's a bit busy but you two can expect a definitive answer (per mail or through the boards) within a week. Thank you for your patience.

For the most part, you'd be drawing new modles from sprites/target pics, mainly so they'd be 3D instead of 2D. But feel free to fiddle with them all you want.
