Another Infini-D Question...

Hey Captain Skyblade, if you did get another program, is there a chance that you would giveaway/sell Infini-D?

You would have to be ignorant, derranged, demented, or dead to turn down the oppurtunity to fly an Azdara.

I would probably keep Infini-D, since I'm not sure if selling the program when I attained it freely on the internet would be a safe thing to do...

and saving up for something else?

Actually, I was wondering why you wanted Bryce. It really depends on what you want. As you know, modelling is definately not Bryce's strong point.

Really, it depends on what you want to do. Bryce is primarily a landscape program, but as you've seen, it can do much more. It just doesn't have practical modelling capabilities, though. It can be used well with some other programs...have you seen Machiavelli's work? Hrmph, it's hard to really say where the line is to be drawn...

Two things I want to point out: I don't know why it seems you're giving up on Infini-D so quickly, as it can be taken pretty far (though it definately has limitations and problems), and I don't really know what you want to do and how much patience/creative problem solving ability you have, so I can't say if Bryce is the program for you or not. It's sounding like you would want something else. Why were you looking into Bryce in the first place?

NTi: I found a freely downloadble copy of Amapi 4.15. I don't know if this is the most recent freely-available version or not, but what the heck: (url="http://"http://www.bakhter.com/html/main/amapi4.html")http://www.bakhter.c...ain/amapi4.html(/url)

Believe me, I currently have no intention to stop using Infini-D. The only reason I've taken an interest in Bryce as of lately is because I've had many requests to start designing landscape images (obviously Bryce's strong area) for use in Escape Velocity, Override, and someday Nova.

Let's just say I want to get Bryce 5 for plain landscaping. Would you recommend I buy it for that purpose?
