OK then,what I'd really like would be simple DFX models for an asteroid and an arrowhead shape,so I can use them in Mechanisto.

If you could do a warship or fighter of some kind for the Rebellion that actually looks like the rest of the EV images (i.e. same colour scheme, same hull texture) I'd be eternally grateful paulos@gofree.indigo.ie

Thanks,Slav. Unfortunately,Mechanisto can't load lattices. What Mechanisto can load is: Mechanisto object files DFX models And that's IT. Grrr...

Actually...mechanisto can barely import any dfx models. It can handle simple ones made by clayscape and meshworks (meshworks dfx models need to be text edited first...) but any program other than that, it's useless...
Either way, asteroids are simple to make in Mechanisto... Why not just ask a ...Master?

Hmm...Kwanza must be right (ofcourse he`s right, he know Mechanisto better then anybody here). Those lattices were actually in DXF format.
Okay, I've sent Wham!Man a Rebel Frigate. As for your Asteroids, Shade, I'll do some sprites for you but I'm afraid I can't get the meshes into mechanisto format.

Thanks but no thanks,Slug. I need the DFX model to finish two "asteroid ships" I'm working on-the Pheonix Colony Ship and Trinity Baseship. See the Gallery for a pic of the Pheonix Assault Carrier. But an interesting,destroyer-model ship in nice shiny steel would always be appreciated any design you choose.
ergh...It's pretty cool man but not what I'm looking for. What I am looking for is something like say....the grand novice human ships, ships that actually fit in with the other (ORIGINAL) EV ships. Thanx, I'll understand if you give up though
i'll have the asteroids! seeing as you have already done them as for ships, i am on outfits and landing scenes at the moment (if I ever find Vue d'Esprit) so I havent thought about ships yet. Btw, what 3D program do you use?
