Web based world map

I have created an interactive map on the web based on ArcAngel Counterstrike's world map so you don't have to download the whole thing. Go to: (url="http://"http://graywoods.com/PoG")http://graywoods.com/PoG(/url)

Excellent. Nice job. I may use that instead of loading up paint shop pro and having
that monstrosity eating at my system performance, heh. I see that you plan to have
navigation of the map in the future; that would certainly make the map even more
helpful(so we don't have to click on each square to make sure of where we are going).

All in all, nice job.

Lolly lolly lolly get your adverbs here.

it would also look nicer if you used the rangers "eagle eye" skill before you screenshot the maps. just to make it more professional.

------------------
"I refuse to prove that I exist," says God. "For proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing." "But," says man, "the babel fish is a dead giveaway, isn't it? It proves you exist, and therefore you don't. QED." "Oh, dear, I hadn't thought of that," says God, and promptly vanishes in a puff of logic. "Boy, that was easy," says man. He then goes on to prove that black is white, and gets killed on the next zebra crossing.

He didn't shoot them, AAC shot them. But using Eagle Eye would be a good idea.

the page is now updated to include navigation within pages. plus click on a cave to explore it. not all caves are active, though most should be.
also there are probably mistakes, but i will correct them as i find them. any visitors who find them should email me (address on opening page).
i do want to update maps, but there's other things to do first. i dont think i ever used eagle eye when i was a ranger. i'll have to go back and check it out.

The links to Mesera's crypt and the Ghost Swamp crypt don't work.
Other than that, the map is great. This way I can find map coordinates without having to wait for AAC's map to load.

All I have to say is ĄThank you!

those two plus most other caves should work now. if anyone finds some that don't work, let me know. email: meganotes@attbi.com
a lot of tidying up to do now, but i plan to leave town for about a week, so i probably won't do any updates after today until i get back.

Like the one on reef island and the one north of Fantrima?

Found a couple of places that were incomplete (they're Inc. on AAC's map also).
1.) Square one north of learning tree does not show secret path which connects north and south portions of screeen.
2.) The most SW square of the map does not show its NW corner.
3.) If I navigate the cave in High G. from W to E I cannot come up to surface on the eastern edge of eastern cave.
------
You've done an excellent job otherwise!

in regards to the first two comments, i am in the process of remapping the entire area using the ranger's eagle eye view. this will reveal everything. AAC's maps, which i originally used, were done before trinity so the new maps will hae the new trinity areas.
as to #3, it works for me. to surface you need to click on the exit tunnel, not just the edge of the screen. the exit is not really clear, but clicking on it should work

Great job!

Minor quibble: screens just west of Fantrima are labeled "east of Fantrima"

Looking forward to the new version 🙂

I had an idea for the map:
Clicking on the ship (at Berglum) should take you to reef island, and clicking on it at reef island should take you back to Berglum.

I like that idea and have incorporated it. thanks

Found a bad link:
Clicking on the East side of the screen with the termite mounds opens a link to the area east of the keep.

the site is pretty much finished now. if anyone is interested i could put all the files in a zip file, upload it to ambrosia's site. users could then download it and use the whole map without having to be online. it would be faster that way as well.
