I'll be the only one to offer positive news: I really can't see the difference between the two star fields. I thought the old one looked fine.

if you cant see the difference, you need glasses, BAD. the new image, theyre small dots, on the old one, they were 1/2 inch circular gradients, and it looked REALLY bad...

Nope. I own no third party filters. (I am planning to get some, however... but not until I've upgraded to Photoshop 6!) That was done with the default filters in Photoshop 5. They're the same image, now. You guys saw the old one and the new one, but both links now lead to the same pic.
