As for a guide, there will be one- but I don't think it will be the kind he is thinking of- it appears he wants more of a hintbook. I'll add some hints as well, on some of those peskier missions, but it might take the fun out of it.

Wow! Awesome. I can have the final build already! I thought it would take longer time, that I didnt have found enough bugs yet. I will update Mac F-25 to it tomorrow. It has been in Beta 4 since April, because Windows version has been a primary testing platform. I will play Mac version though, because I am at my dad though. Be sure to send the mail to mercury@welho.com, because thats where I will be until Sunday. I sent a mail already about this, did you get it. As for a hintbook, try doing some organizing. Put the hints in a separate section, and warn that they may spoil your fun. Or put them in a separate file altogether.
Gerry: I dont know when it comes out. It may be a month yet, it may be something else I dont know. It has been a long and winding road- from March 17 and first build to July and build 6.1. Its something special it has reached build 7, the last one. Also, it has not been tested on OS 8.6. It has been tested on OS 9. As these are almost the same, im sure it will work. In fact, I got it to work on OS 7.5 on a emulator...

yes but the next bit of the string went wrong the jump rute did not show up so . bin 2 - F25 0. more luck with this pilot

The beta is looking sharp. I'm shooting to have it done very soon, so look for it in the coming weeks.

I hope so. It has been in testing since mid-March, when the first E-Mail was sent. As I realized yesterday it has been 4 and half months, I felt a little tired. Glad to know its looking good though. I have always tried to find new bugs whenever you have answered.
new one for you jumping from DSN-9418 to Bakka it crashes to the desktop error code tipe 2 one way and 3 the auther way my e-mail is down. evo 1.0.2 , F25v20, OS 8.6, ------------------ gerry b

Odd. It should work fine. Why do you need to go there anyway? Try going another route that doesnt got trough DSN-9418.

Hey, pardon my newbie ignorance... but I'm wondering if I'm running an old version of F-25v2.0 already. I just dl'd it last month. Is there something else I should be adding on?

I think I released a minor bug patch somewhere along the line, but I'm not sure it it' still on the ASW site. No worries though- I'm handling this last beta myself and the new version, with all the bug fixes rolled into one, should be out relatively soon. I'd be surprised and disappointed if it isn't done by the end of the summer.
And thanks... the new version should be even better.
Cool... I look forward to it. Another question though: does using Lightning Jump with your plug make it die? (I'm just impatient like that, can't stand hearing that sound anymore). I got to that bit about the Miranu Gunships, and they wouldn't appear, so I figured Lightning might have been antagonistic to escorts (like cops... heh heh.)

Well, I don't have the plug-in myself, so I'm not sure about compatability. To be safe- never use any other plug-ins with F-25. Even if it's just "whammo ka-blammo laser plug 2.1.3" it'll probably do something bad.
