That could take a while, since I think Captain Skyblade is currently on some form of penance (that's how I took it). It's probably something silly that he's being kept off for, like underage sex or blasphemy, but you know how things can be.

if you want to fix bugs, fix the zidagar phase beam. and fix the igadzra mission where you're supposed to go get that ship from up past the council station, but whenever you land on igadzra, (whether you've done the mission or not,) you get a message like you completed it. i haven't played in a couple years or i'd be more specific.

We've worked something out (refer to toy # 1), but the website is uncertain at the moment. Apparently, EVula's backup wasn't functioning properly, and he's unsure if he'll be able to retrieve the files through his host. If he does, then I'm giving him all the SS content for use in the Lair, as I don't have time to run SS at the moment. I'm just eager to get those graphics available for download, since a few people throughout the forums have asked about them.

even though evo is such a good game in my mind, i really think you should be able to control yourself on land, like when you land on planets, it just showsa you stuff that is going on. even if you wern't really controlling your charecter, just seeing what was happening, like you drinking or talking to officers and the such, would be way better in my mind.

That sounds like a major game engine overhaul, not something that can be fixed with a plug. Besides, you'd get sick of having to watch youself drink EVERY time you went into the bar.

heh, good point there. Yeah, EVO was meant to mainly focus on space travel/fighting. Planets in it are mainly there only to land/get missions, not to wander around

You should be able to by as many of a primary weapon as you have slots. I.E. 5 neutron cannons or 6 phase turrets. Secondary weapons should not take up a primary weapon slot. I.E. Phase beam and rocket turret. Make the Voinians able to fire rockets and neutrons turrets in the foward direction ate the same time.
These may seem trivial but they are the ones that I think are important.
Things I like are the fact that turrets take up gun slots. It adds a level of skill to the game other than just holding the spacebar.
