Whatever happened to the EVO Ship Modification Contest?

Like many people, I submitted an entry. Just for fun... I wasn't expecting to win, or anything. My design was based on the Turncoat, so I only ever had a snowball's chance in a supernova.

I'm disappointed to think that we all wasted our time, entering the contest, though. Does anybody have any news on this?
