Both of the "Reign of the Voinians" plugins were excellent. My vote would go for the original.
I disliked Frozen Heart... Nearly all the ships were ugly, and I didn't especially like the entire atmosphere of the plugin.

Babylon 5. I personally didn't like Galaxy's Edge at all. It was unrealistically hard and..stuff. Great graphics though. Incredible.
Another plugin that I plan to re-make some day in a strange fantasy land is the EVC Total Conversion "Omega". Not Omega Faction, but Omega. It rearranged the EV Universe and added a new govt., and all these kickin' ships. Whoever made it should contact me as they are my idol. I don't know why, either, it was just a hugely awesome expansion to the EV Universe.

This is a really stupid debate. TC stands for "Total Conversion". Note the world total. F-25 retains the EVO Universe, even though it adds to it substantially. Thus, it is not a Total Conversion. Partial Conversion, sure. Total? Nein.
FH replaces (or "Converts") the entire ("Total") universe. Thus, it is a TC (Resource ripoffs from classic EV aside).
EVGE, for classic EV, doubles the size of the galaxy, but it isn't a TC. Neither is Pale of FB. New Horizons is a TC, as is Babylon 5 and Star Wars.
What on earth is unclear about this?
well, out of the count em 2 plug-ins Ive played, FF and B5, I would say babylon 5.

Unfortunately.. no. I'm still on break from school right now, hence the more time on my hands to come here, but since I go back sunday, I won't be around much. Beyond that, it'll be back to the usual lurking and occasional sarcasm.

I don't think there is anything unclear about it, it's just that there are so few TCs for EVO and even fewer good ones that if people can't vote for FH or FF (probably the best) then they have few to choose from. I agree, ROTV and ROTV II aren't by any means TCs, but calling F-25 one, while technically inaccurate, isn't that far-fetched. You spend %99 of the time in the plug-in in a galaxy different than EVO's, with new stories, ships, etc. In fact, v. 2.0 was quite nearly a TC in every sense, but I ran out of time to implement it. I'm not arguing that F-25 is a TC- it isn't.. it just isn't that hard to see why people would vote for it in that category. Personally, I don't have a favorite TC, and my favorite plug-in overall would be ROTV II. I'm not being self-absorbed here, it just has all the elements of a plug-in I'd like to play. (War, good story, new challenges)
Oh, and I should add that the close runner up was ConEx Override. J/K
