Well, you really don't have a legit problem here, actually - the bible lists the max size at 640x480 (I think) but in reality, both EV and EVO refuse to fully load when there's a ship that's much more than 200x200. Back in the day, making Quantumire taught me lots... -david-

I'm trying to remember the exact limit, but I was able to reach a few muiltiples of 8 higher than 200 (it most likely was around 256) before EV froze at startup. I was actually tweaking the stars to try to get them to flood the screen with blue, but with the maximum size, I just had about 20-30% of the screen covered in blue rectangles.

You could have turrets at the front & back of the Dreadnought. 2 sets of turrets, with 2 different offsets should work. Hope this helps.
