OK, i just sold my Destroyer for a Cruiser...but i remember how it goes. I had sold all of my missiles and launchers, and sold my lasers for the voinian version. The range can be used to run circles around ships, and they wont hit u once. I took out a whole fleet of voinians with it, and i had ful health. Of course, small fighters is a problem. I get all upgrades as possible(sheild enhancers and both armors), and sensors and everything else. When Im done, if i have room i get a rocket launcher and a few rockets for closer range attacks when Im feelin lucky. This worked for me.
