What was your most amazing capture in Override? I remember mine well, in which I boarded and captured a Turncoat in my shuttlecraft... One of the moments of surprise.
I also managed to capture a Voinian Cruiser in a United Earth Destroyer years ago, but haven't had such luck since.
What are some of your lucky captures?

Which brings back a proven Override fact: If you're looking for ships with a large crew and high capture rates, strand ships are not your ticket by any means.
Igazra is my favorite warship, though.
The UE Cruiser is great for capturing stuff, though I don't know why you'd need to capture anything if you have a UE Cruiser.

I captured a drednought with a shuttle that had only 1 blaze cannon. My shields were gone and i had no fuel. Sorry, i just figured someone would say something stupid like this. I didnt really. In fact, I have never captured anything, at least not yet.
My most impressive ever was capturing a Voinian Frigate in a shuttlecraft. Despite Falcon_21 's post, I'm not making this up. I think I had armed my shuttle with phase cannons for the longer range, and I was hunting Voinians to build my CR. (And this was without MPing... just outmaneuvering). I usually try capturing my opponents, even when I don't think I have a chance, just for kicks. This time I got lucky. But in my surprise, I forgot that the UE's would attack me when they saw my hard-earned Frigate. I ran into a UE Cruiser and Destroyer in Bakka as I made my way home, and I barely managed to land. I sold the Frigate at the next shipyard I reached - too much of a pain to stay in it since I was about to work for the UE. But the 5M profit helped me jump to a nice, new ship pretty quickly.
Just goes to show that even 1% is still a chance.

I really wouldn't fly a frigate not only because you get attacked but also because it sucks(slow), you really did the right thing.
Well, 1% means you have 1 chance in 100, if you try 100 times, you might capture once.

I hereby issue the "Shuttlecraft Capture Challenge"(SCC), in which you must try to capture a ship with as high a crew as possible, using, of course, a shuttle. Past captures don't count; you have to do it after this point. Sadly, there's no way (afaik) to truly verify a capture, so I'll just have to trust everyone's sense of honor. The grand prize is a congratulations and a metaphorical slap on the back
I'll accept that challenge. I may not be the first to do it, but I'll get it...
I don't have any major captures in EVO, but in EV I've captured two Confed Frigates and one Rebel Cruiser with a severely pumped Argosy. Of course, this was with Galactic Scourge, with which anything goes on EV...but hell, who cares?

I captured a drednought using a Voinian Cruiser (the VC has the highest crew count of any buyable ship in EVO). It took me about 30 trys to capture the bloody thing!

Actually, given the time, I could turn the Voinian frigate into something to be proud of. After that, it's just a matter of paetience. If I can the same for a Voinian cruiser, then a frigate shouldn't be a problem.

I'm having an extremely difficult time believing that one...
well i had just learned how to Monty Python a ship, and the first ship i ran into was a vonian cruiser. After disabling it, I Boarded it and clicked capture ships instead of take fule and what do u know, i got it!
I've never been able to capture anything since executor always freezes when I do.
