Anyone know what's up with this? I've tried d/l'ing it several times off the official addons website, and it's never worked. Also, is it supposed to be just 9k? And, is it that different from SW2 1.03?

Lots and lots of people have complained about the bugs in the SW plug-in. I haven't heard them in a while though so try getting the latest version.

Yeah, this is the EVO one. The one on the addons site, like I said, doesn't work. I think it might have something to do with being just 9k, while the SW@ 1.03 is over 4mb. I'd really like to play the upgraded version if possible
ESPilot, copy and paste the jibberish into simple text. Once you save it, you should be able to unstuff the saved file. Sorry Fang, guess I can't help you there. Try asking the maker maybe?
I have the same problem. I looked for other posts and couldn't find them so don't moan at me please. I downloaded the file which it says is a stuffit document, and it even briefly runs stuffit, but doesn't uncompress anything. Help me, what do I do? I don't know how to get the text open or anything like that! AGH! Simpletext and AppleWorks don't do it...

First off. I am horid at html, so there is only the EVTech webboard and I haven't done much with it. Second, Version 2.1 should be about 5.8 megs stuffed (I think, I don't remember). I have had trouble with it. I was going to have it beta tested, but only one of my testers ever received it due to problems with AOL. I guess I could try and post it on there again. You might only be held over by it until SWN comes out though. I didn't do much to make 2.1.

Is 2.1 that much of an improvement over 1.03 (as in, is it worth it or should I just be content with 1.03 (which I've already beaten in both tracks))? And is SWN the version for EVNova (meaning we have to wait that long)?
hey chrisbillett, Microsoft word can open pretty much anything as text. You just have to hold down shift or option or something as you do the open command on the menu.
The way to download files that just show up as text when you click on them, is to:
a) Drag the link onto your desktop. It automatically creates the file for you, and then you can just drag it onto Stuffit Expander.
Fix yer webbrowser.

I havent been to these boards for about a year now but Last year I had been working on a SW total Conversion for EVO using some of the ships from SW2. I lost all my internet preferences and passwords and my compuuter ****ed up so I Couldn' contact Any of the contributers which kindof put an End to the project.
The plug included about 14 new rendered ships and an absoulutely massive galaxy map and was about 60% finished
I was just wondering what SW EVplugs where underway at the moment And If they were interested in using any of my previous work or needed any help at all.
