I have a question for people like Lone Voinian and Voinian Ambassador.
Why did the Human-Voinian war start? If anyone has facts I'd love to hear them, random speculation will also be appreciated.

The Voinians had enslaved all the weaker races in their galactic sector, and they couldn't find anything to the north, south, or west, so they headed east and tryed to enslave the humans.

Simple; the Voinians have a built in urge to conquer other people from the time they are born. The Humans were just another race to wipe out, however, the resisted.

So the general conclusion is that the Voinians just like conquering people? How deep does this obsession run (if indeed it be an obsession)? What does anyone think? Is Voinian survival more important than beating up humans or not?
It's part of Voinian nature. It's built into their brain and personality as far as I can tell.

I suppose you could view the Vonians as more technologically advanced Spanish Conquistadors, taking land from the natives and sometimes enslaving them.

The Voinain are just a dumb witted, bloodthirsty race. Any way, the UE/Voinain War started when McPherson's mom met a Voinain and they improsined her. She bore a half human/half Voinain baby (McPherson). After being interogatated, she escaped and told Earth what the Voinain's knew. Then the Voinains started an advance.

Excuse me but the UE actually started the war, it was a mistake and the Voinians sent the UE a message pod went it collided the UE thought it was an attack so they made a front with the Voinians and in order to defend themselves the Voinians attacked cause somewhere I hearf the best defence is attack. The UE did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to admit, the UE might have acted a bit differently, but I don't think it would have helped. I still think the Voinians would have attacked sooner or later.
BTW, I do know a Voinian, he's sitting right next to me watching me type out this post.

Come on, it's just propaganda from LoneVoinian (the most known Voinian on the boards). Also, just to avoid being nuked by him, pay much attention in typing Voinian correctly (no one has made it here, I just warn you).

I know, all the Voinian fans like to blame the UE for the war. Even though I like playing for both sides, the Voinians are obviously the side at fault.

Someone's been playing "Reign of the UE," haven't they?
Actually, that's not what started the UE/Voinian War. The first "official" contact (and subsequent fighting) tooke place decades after McPherson was born.

So to sum up, the Voinians like conquering people, but they are not psycotic barbarians, thats just the way they are and their actions are reasonable (the Voinians are not insane) if you accept that they see it as their duty/job/destiny to conquer and enslave. This sound right to everione?

Well, there was just a misunderstanding between the Voinians and UE. But the Voinians had always been a race that took over everything. Take the Hinwar and Emalgha. They put both of them in Slavery, and voth rebelled. The Voinains are just a blood-loving society! And don't believe LoneVoinain's threat, he's changed his sig.file!
