blowing captain hector to little crunchy bits! gotta be a kodak moment. much in the same spirit, when i finally registered and didn't have to constantly worry about hector robbing me blind. killing him was much more morally satisfying, though.

I think the best moment of my EVO career came in my first incarnation, back when I was still loyal to the UE. I was gradually exploring the galaxy, and had gone quite far 'southeast'. Naturally, since this was my first time, I didn't know where to get all the best stuff, so I was flying a pretty poor ship. I seem to remember that it was a freighter-courier.
There were renegades all over the place, and I couldn't outrun the fighters. They were chewing me to pieces... then a huge ship that looked like a great big hotdog with extra mustard jumped into the system, and took them on. All of them. And won with barely a scratch. I tried to hail, but got 'no response' and the big ship jumped away again.
Wow! Of course nowadays I know all about the reclusive Igadzra, but it never again got quite as exciting as that first encounter. I was hooked.

Anyway, some of the best EVO moments for me were back when I was a newbie, flying a UE Fighter for the first time(which was also the first real combat ship I'd flown except fro a Helian - blowing up the Dreadnaught for thefirst time - It took me a week with my UE Destroyer, but it was awesome :), and flying an Igdzara fro the first time - I captured another Igdzara, and then went and finished the "Attack the Rock" mission that I couldn't do before in my CW. Man, that was awesome.
2 funniest EVO moments for me- 1-I had just destroyed the Dreadnaught in my UE destroyer for the second time - and I had 2% armor left. I sat there and watched it go boom... boom... BOOOOOOOM... and then my ship blew up!
The other time was when I had just left Huron in my CW, and my little sitster distracted me, and I came back just in time to see a Krait blow up my ship. At least I wan't using strict play.

I did that to a Confed Cruiser in EV. I was flying around in my courier, almost dead broke, when i found a big battle. Once I did that in a Transporter and took over a Turncoat(before I knew about the Crecent). I used it as my ship. Then a Renegade Helian jumped in and killed me, since I was almost cripeled.
New best experience..
Gettin in a fight that was so intense that I couldn't see the stars... Happens loads of times when I'm doing the strike missions for the UE...

I've got a new best moment:
I had demanded tribute from Council Station to see exactly how strong my Azdara was. Well, it was obviously quite strong because I was still there hours later. Anyway, the wave of 6 CWs remains. I blew up one. I had turned the sound off because it was beginning to annoy me, so I didn't hear any fighters launching. I blow up another. And another. A little while later, I've whacked all 6. Then I'm wondering where the 18 marshmallows are 'cause they should've reached me already. I fly over to the station: nothing! Now I'm thinking my comp ****ed up and I had to start over. Well, I decided to demand tribute again before I gave the three-finger-salute, and Wham!, I'm pulling in 1,000 more creds/day!
