Hmmm.... I really know nothing about making plugs, so I guess this is a challenge to all you would-be plug makers out there
Anyway... my idea is kinda simple. Have a plug that increases the number of përs in the game... but, these wouldn't just be ANY plain old përs. They would be the people of the EVO webboard. Anyone wishing to be a part would submit their ship name and their ship stats.
Perhaps this isn't even possible, but I think it would be a great idea. Not interfere with any other aspect of the game, but every so often you could come across "Flatulence's Mighty Yellow Penis", the super modified Igazra. Now, wouldn't that make the game just much more fun?
I guess the big question is, is it possible to create new pers, while also editing their ships? (upgrades, guns).

Oh... and this is different than the "EVO webboard ships" topic for various reasons.... the only one I'll get into is that these will be përs ships, and none of them will be up for sale or anything like that....

Actually, that plug-in you were talking about for "EV" that Nova6 was working on for EVO, not EV. The big difference is that YOU, Flatty, are making a "Persons" plug-in and Nova6 is making a "Ship" plug.
I actually made a plug-in of my own for EV which added a bunch of persons. It was called "Persons of the EV Webboard" and it is now on the (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiaSW.com/games/ev/addons.html")EV Addons Page(/url) .

How do you get 6 Ziggy fighters into a bay? I remind you, these are real live, non-cheat ships that people actually fly around in.... for example:

It'd have to be a well shielded or armored ship.... and it would have a tractor beam, a space mind layer, and defense pods. Locks you on, shoots the pods, then the mines.... BOOOOOM. And a perfect name? S.S. Kamikazi

I think they already made a plug-in with EVO web-board pers; however, somehow it was lost. Anyway, that would be a good idea Flatulence and I could make it. You just have to realize that I wouldn't want to create totally new ships for everyone, just slight modifications...
So if anyone wants to be a part in this I'll try to make it. Just follow this form:

I could help with the development. I've had some experience making përs resources for EVO plug-ins. Okay, here's what I would like for a ship:
Name: Phased Terror Type: Zidara Weapons: 2 Phased Beamers, 2 Phased Beam Turrets, two Dispy Rocket launchers + 10 rockets, and a Zidagar Fighter Bay with two Zidagar Fighters. Shieldmod: slightly juiced up shields and armor ComQuote: Prepare to feel the wrath of the Zidagar! HailQuote: Prepare to feel the wrath of the Zidagar! Govt: Zidagar Misc: Holds grudges, fights to the death, AI: Warship, appears anywhere, uses escape pod.

Can we tap back into reality for a sec? These are supposed to be actual ships you fly.... a dreadnaught can not have 4 phased beam turrets.....
Keep them to real in game ships... yes, the Naught is an ingame ship, but you see it once. And it would make a rather lame përs. Stick with the CW's, Igazra, Aradas, Laziras, whatever....

Actually, I guess stuffed fighter bays would be ok. I didn't think about it, but the përs in the game right now have those too. As long as it's reasonable. I've got your info written down, but what I need is your Agression (Bully/Reasonable/Wimp), your shield % modification (if the base ship has 200 shields, and you ask for 200% of that, your përs has 400 shields), and finally, how many credits your ship offers to those who disable it.
