I don't know about everybody else but I'm getting sick of all these similar polls. For example:
First we had: Armored Tanks vs. Speedy Buggers Followed soon after by: Favorite ship poll , best ships , and some sort of poll about species and their ships from Nova6
You probably have realized that this can get quite annoying especially to those who come here often and don't want this board filled with thousands of polls. Before posting any poll please look through and make sure it hasn't recently been discussed, and as for questions SEARCH THEN ASK!!
P.S. Sorry for making a whole new topic for this but it is really getting annoying.

Hehe. When I saw "Multiple Polls" as the Topic I thought that that ment you were asking a bunch of "Which ------ is best?" questions. I also expected to see Flatty making numorus death threats at you.

I fully support your making of a new thread for this... it really is getting annoying, especially when the "new" polls are repeats of polls that are still actively being posted in.

The people who are making the polls are the influx of new people that seemed to have came here in the past week that missed out on the old ones.

Thanks Flatty for supporting my thread However, I doubt all the people who are posting these rediculous(sp) polls will read this. The problem is that all these new members are just asking these questions without looking at the rest of the board or checking search. This is usually because they are new but still it gets annoying. I think there should be some kind of new member messege stating, "Search then ask, etc." hehe... Also they need to make that search button bigger and easier to see

Hey, don't bash the newbies too much! If it's like their first post then politely direct them to a duplicate thread. If they are just being stupid, then you start a topic like this.

That's why I keep a text file of replies to common polls. If I see one, want to put in my two fragments of semi-precious metal, I open up the file, copy the relevant portion, and paste it in. Very simple, very quick, and very easy.
Besides, it's all part of my master plan to......

I think its unrealistic to think that people can come up with original posts realiting to EVO for more than a year. And if you use this board for your social life I pity you.

I never said you have to come up with origianl polls or posts for more than a year. It is just makes no sense to make a new poll when there is one already still active!
