The only small ship I really like is the UE Fighter, I think. I don't know why, maybe its the graphics, but I have an attraction to it. Unless you consider the Arada a small ship...

I've flown every (buyable) ship in EVO, i think the smallest ship i've ever flown, would have to be either the shuttle craft, or Azdara.

Smallest ship I flew in was an azdara definetly. it was awesome with 2 shield generators and swivel phase cannons.

OH YEAH? I took my suncrusher and shrunk its sprites down to a 1 bit pixel, a 6x6 matrix, makes me the person who has flown the smallest ship, and what a small ship, they can't hit me because I'm too small, and I have so much firepower, these sun destroyer torps, oh yeah. Watch out. f34r.

No, you're all beat. I have a pilot that has no ship. I started him off of some other plug, I forget which.... anyway, he has no ship. When you log in, it's just my escort there, and the planet I took off from. If I click accelerate, the ship zooms all over the damn place at speeds about 500 times that of the azdara...... actually... too fast to control, so I have to restart. :frown:

Hey, flat, I did that to! I think it happens in any non-total conversion plug that adds new ships. You buy the ship, take out the plug and the game doesn't have a pic for the ship, so you can't see the ship.

I've flown an Azdara a few times for the sake of getting Azdgari shield generators and thus hopefully getting an "invincible" fighter, but I gave up on that when I realized that no fighter on earth can take out a serious warship on its own.
I usually don't suffer myself to be in anything smaller than an upgraded arada, although I will fly scoutships early on when I'm getting established.

Quite right. Some of the non-human fighters are good, though. If you haven't tried the Azdara yet, do so. It makes EVO a whole new game, effectively. Shame you have to put 20 tons of armour in... no room for secondaries! Fair's fair, though.

I actually did quite well in a scoutship. I was able to beat a few central objectives with it. The dreadnought was still pretty easy. I don't think that's a very hard mission. If you have a large amount of missles or rockets or you monty python. If there is a 1.0.3 they need to make that ship more formidable. There's a plug available for that too, but I'd rather have it built in. As for the invisible ship...well, it's all semantics, but it's invisible not smaller.

What I ment when I said "Besides Cargo Ships" was Don't count all the ships you can get at Croccket withoud doing any UE missions.

The azdara is the smallest ship I've actually used in combat before. Actually, my one pilot has a modified azdara, which i actually took down a V. Cruiser with (it took forever tho!)
yeah, thats the problem with azdaras, not enough firepower, but the smallest ship i ever few was a krate, unless their bigger than an azdara, in which case it was/is an azdara

the answer is obvious. not counting specially designed plugins you start with the smallest ship in the game, the shuttle
O.K. I thought when I said "Not counting cargo ships" they would not count the shuttle, transporter, scoutship, Freighter and Freight Courier.

Krait. It's a POS though. Azdara is the smallest thing that can survive that I've flown in.
