go to the area near Northtip station. There you will find a moon which the Azdgari own. Or if you have done this part of the mission string try going to Xarns (I have no idea how to spell the name. It is one of the moons in their home system.

The east end of the crescent, just north of Zidagar worlds.

oops, sorry, forgot to mention the ex. shield generator too, that should do it
You would need four of those experimental shield generators to do the job. Needless to say, that's not possible without cheat plugs. The standard Crescent Warship shield technology is really a dinosaur compared to the Azdgari Warship shield technology, and that's ever before the breakthrough at Xarnes.
I think that once those Xarnes scientists get tired of playing with their enhanced aradas and azdaras, they are going to make some SCARY warships.

I've got a plug all made that lets you buy some of the military ships that you can't buy in the original game. Unfortunately, I'm missing some of the "shipyard" PICTs. DARN IT... but capturing one should do the job anyway.

Just capture one, its not hard.

The great thing about the Azdgari is that a single Enhanced Arada or even Azdara can take out an Igazdra head to head. I have found that even with 5 phase turrets, the Enhanced ships just recharge too fast to defeat them. Short of space mines, you just can't kill them.

Actually, I'm embarrassed to admit this, but I got killed while flying an Enhanced Arada (with shield generator) once. It involved multiple Zidaras, with their phased beams and dispersal rockets. :frown: It's not the kind of thing that can happen to an even slightly-skilled pilot, but if you take your hands off the controls, it can happen.
