i want to upgrade my gateway from first stage. Theres the memory 1 or the 1 with an extra cpu. What does a cpu do? thanks

And you can run more programs at once. Memory is just used for storing data and your programs. I relly prefer the one with the embedded bb radio, cuz u cant get caught by passive traces.

Actually, I believe you can. I got passive traced for hacking the Criminal Database (unless you are just prone to that for being unregistered). Should have remembered to delete those logs - d'oh!

First rule of Uplink: Always delete the logs. Especially when you hack a bank, their passive trace is the faster in the game (around a minute).
And a bug prevent this gateway from making you untraceable.

Yes...I believe it worked in an erlier version, but they either took it out, or it is a bug, but either way, it doesnt work(And for some reason they didnt change the description...or the picture...
