"Picture" field in shop interface

There is a field named "Picture" in the shop interface. What is it for? What does it do? Why is it there? Does anyone have any info on this?

The manual is worthless.

This field will display a picture of your choice. The shop and the picture must have the same name, and the picture must go in the "location pics" folder.

let's say you visit Donovan's weapon shop, then you load a picture of donovan for this shop, then you head over to Aziz's armor imporium, slap a picture of Aziz into the picture frame.
