Well... sort of new. It looks just like my old one, but it's vastly improved under the hood. And you can make it even better!
In short: I've made all the news posts and player rankings database-driven, so the site can become a little bit more of a community thing, and other people can do some of the work of keeping the news up-to-date. Also, it's always my theory that interactive sites are more popular cause it's more fun changing content than waiting for new to go up.
While everything should work, it's still something of a work-in-progress: if for no other reason than that I need all you pop champs to sign up so your names will be in the database, and I can build some sort of system for automating rankings by tournament reporting. I'm sure I'll think of some other fun things to do too. I'm taking suggestions.
Oh yeah, the link: right now you can find the new version at (url="http://"http://squibix.net/~pop")squibix.net/~pop(/url) (the original is still, for the moment, at (url="http://"http://squibix.net/pop")squibix.net/pop(/url)). At some point it will be at pop.squibix.net, but at present I'm having some trouble with my subdomains. In any case though, a sort of soft launch will be good to give you all a chance to add your names in.
So (url="http://"http://squibix.net/~pop")go do it(/url) already!! And let me know what you think.

Will it have the final results of tournaments? The "inofficial tourney-system: [http://pop-pop.webhop.net"](http://pop-pop.webhop.net) just gives the first round. It looks real nice!

I am really looking forward to the release of the windows version. so that there is some more life on the tracker and more traffic on pages like danny's or this board or just one or two tournaments more, again...

hyko, isn´t it nice that at least WE are still here? and i bet there is at least one more person we know very well who is regularly checking the board - will she ever break her silence? and weren´t there times when some people were dreading the "invasion" of window players? I think she is a very tough nut or a unmeltable block of ice concerning her silence on the board. But one day I think we will break her...
The windows version is >>THIS close<< (brings thumb and forefinger together for emphasis) to being released. The current build, from what I hear, is VERY stable, so I can't imagine what's keeping Ambrosia from releasing the thing...

I think you do not have a totally different picture in your timezone. The lounge is most time of the day empty here too.
