The Release of the Final Jimmy Page Theory to Ares..

Greetings, it's been a while since I've posted on here. Looks like the ares boards are really shrinking..

Well before they do, I'm glad to announce that I recently found this strategy guide on my computer a few days ago. I belive I originally made it for Patrick to put on some website of his, but if not, it can always go on magleague. Right now I uploaded it to the addons section of ambrosiasw.com for ares users. It's quite long at 24 pages and I can't belive that at some point in my life I had no life to write such a long strategy guide. Whatever the case, it's here now and I'm sure it will be a great use to good players and new players alike. It offers the most comprehensive strategy explaination ever and shares some of my very own secrets to success. Most of these secrets are very easy to master and have been practiced by me for years. Obviously they work or I wouldn't be able to win so many games. I hope you find it intersting and useful in your ares gameplay. The guide is designed for net play, but the strategies work easily for solo or plugin play.

I'm really not planning on playing ares anymore, so hopefully some of my strategies can be carried on so there will always be amazing ares players out there.

By the way, I also included an explaination of how I edited the codes so that I only have to type one key on the keyboard to enter a code. Such as typing the (/) key allows me to rename my planet in the middle of a net game. I used to get so many questions about that, so now I explained it once again. I think I originally explained it a few years ago on the boards, but that post is long gone.

It's nice being back on the boards again and I hope everyone checks out The Jimmy Page Theory of Ares in the addons section. Don't get it confused with the old Jimmy Page Therory of Ares which is only a few pages long. I hope it answers some strategic ares questions and works well for everyone to win more games.

Any questions, comments, post em here. Maybe we can actually get some posts back onto the ares boards... imagine that...

Pat, you could've simply made it a .pdf, as that's a universal document type.
