Take your imagination and design a ship inspired by the Mitsubishi 3000-GT, only thing I'll ask you to do is make it between teh size of a Destroyer and a Fed carrier, let your mind run wild and post any picks of it after its done.

Bit of advice for you.
Creating graphics takes time. It's probably the most time consuming part of creating a plug-in. Take this recent ship I made as an example: (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/webboard/Forum56/HTML/001544.html#")http://www.ambrosias...ML/001544.html#(/url)
This took me about 6 hours to model and another 3 to texture. And bare in mind This is a fighter sized ship, no bigger than a viper, so It doesen't have to be very detailed. Now think about how long something as big as what your suggesting, this will have to be alot more detailed to look good in the game. Therefore, will take longer. So someones going to have to take 10 hours out of there time to create this. Remember, most of us are students, so we have lots of other work to be getting along with aswell.
Also, doing something based on a car brings up trouble for us graphic designers. Some of us have only ever created space orientated designs, so this would be a whole new area to attempt. Therefore taking more time.
Most of the graphics designers are working on Plug-ins or TC's allready. I know I am, so we have precious little time to spare.
We know jack all about your plug, other than that it needs this graphic for it, if you want anyone to take this request seriously, give us some information about the plug. What will it do, how big will it be etc.
So it really wasn't such a simple request was it?

OK, the rants over, now for the helpful advice. You want it based on the Mitsubishi 3000-GT, Im pretty sure this is a car. There are plenty of free 3d meshes out there on the Internet, If you have a search you maybe able to come up with a mesh of your car. If you can find this, someone will be alot more likely to spin it and sprite it for you than create a new one from scratch. I wonder if Tiresmoke can help out, If I recall he worked on some racing games.
But I'd strongly advise you to teach yourself how to make your own 3d graphics. It's alot of fun once you get the hang of it. If you do a board search for 3d software I'm sure you'll come up with some useful topics for getting started.
Runsaber, sorry for the rant, but I feel It had to be said. It wasn't aimed just at you in particular. I know your new, so stick around, don't let my post put you off. We're all nice guys really. I hope to see some good plug-ins from you in the future.

If you're going to make requests like this, you'd better be prepared for this kind of answer. Also, I've seen countless times people making "simple" requests for plugins that only add 15 new planets, 2 new races, and graphics for the planets, ships, and outfits, as well as some cool missions, etc. (OK, that's an extreme example. But you see my point.) Before making a suggestion, think about how long it would actually take for someone to do it (imagine yourself doing the whole process, if that helps).
It's a nice idea, though.

If u really want such a plug-in why dont u start to make that plug-in urself ? In the beginning it might be hard but with some practice (about 2 weeks) u would be able to program t your plug-in urself. If u are really interested go to the Ev nova download page and download some stuff which makes the plug-in making a little bit easier. Some stuff like the Mission Computer , the Addships guide or something else.

The difficult part here is not making the plugin - it's making the graphics themselves. As TheRedeemer said, making some good graphics for this could take many hours - once the graphics were made, rendered and exported it would take probably less than half an hour to actually program the plugin.

so heres advice from asome onme who begged for a ship too so here it is : 1 they will not make the plug unless they like you 2 shut the hell up this topic is stupid and a space ship like that would have to be majorly alterd to look like a spaceship 3 you should think about making it your self 4 spell corectly 5 do not spam thats my advice and its pretty good and again unless their realky nice their not going to make it for you and i forgot the 6th annd final is dont beg to miuch or not at all

Everyone's getting quite riled up here, I think it's time we put this topic to bed.
Please use proper language if you can - a few commas and periods in appropriate places and some properly-spelled words can make a huge difference to how disposed to helping you the other users are. Understandability is always going to help you get your question answered.
