Baltimore, MD -- March 4, 2004 -- Arios SoftWare announces the release of EVONE Public Beta 2.6! EVONE, the Escape Velocity Override Nova Editor, is a complete plugin development environment for the Escape Velocity trilogy by Ambrosia Software.
New in This Release Continuing in EVONE's tradition of providing unique, advanced features, this version includes the first frame-level RLE editor available on the Mac. EVONE's RLEBuilder allows you to easily edit every aspect of rle8 and rleD resources, providing live frame, mask, and composite previews as you go. Change the size, color depth, and number of frames with a click of the mouse. Generate masks based on a color! Import and Export frames to a number of formats!! And preview everything by clicking the frame you're interested in or watching it move at up to 30 FPS.
Among the other countless small changes and bug fixes in this version is a revamp of the main window interface. The smaller size and more minimalist display will increase productivity, putting the controls you really need at your fingertips.
What does it require? To the dismay of emulator users, and due to its use of new Carbon technologies, EVONE is only supported on Mac OS 9 or later, and Mac OS X 10.1 or later.
